The Fluffy Friesians recommend …
Please allow us to introduce ourselves? My name is Miriam and I live together with my partner and four Sacred Birman cats in East Friesia, Germany. Sacred Birman cats, nicknamed "Birmchen", not only have an elegant look, they're also very loving and affectionate and love to cuddle. The medium-long fur makes fur care simply and due to having very little undercoat, they are particularly suitable for allergy sufferers. Finally, the bright blue eyes of the Sacred Birman cats seem to gaze straight into the soul of their human.
For more than seven years, I have been devoting my time and my heart to breeding Sacred Birmans. Ten litters resulted in wonderful cat babies who grew up to be fluffy and character-strong East Friesians. I love sharing my knowledge about cats, therefore the Fluffy Friesians have also been present on Instagram under @flauschfriesen for three years now and have become quite well known in the cat lover community.
High quality products are very important to us. In addition to nutritious cat food and natural kitty litter, we only let the coziest of beds, the most comfortable food bowls and the most interesting toys into our home.
We also pay attention to the materials used for the cat beds, so that our cats can feel completely comfortable in their cozy refuges. The Wolters Eco-Well cat beds and the Eco-Well Play & Cuddling Tent are among our favourites. These beds and tents not only invite resting, relaxing, playing and cuddling, but the covers are also made from 100% organic cotton.
It inspires us that Wolters designs and produces their products out of a genuine love of pets and also pays attention to sustainable manufacturing. Therefore, we are big fans of the Mekong cat lounge. Mekong cat lounge. This stylish cat bed has a frame made from natural and sustainable water hyacinth. My cats Toffie, Lou, Taalke and Tamme love relaxing in a raised position in order to be able to observe their environment. Wolters products also enchant us with their modern and minimalist design.
The beautiful cat food bowls also fit perfectly into our home. For some time now, we have been using the Meshidai Siam True Food Bar – a combination of a raised wooden frame and a ceramic food bowl with a volume of 0.25 l. Hereby, the wood for the frame is sourced from sustainable and renewable plantations, while the food bowls are made from 100% ceramic. Due to its low edges, the food bowl is very well suited to the requirements of our cats and their sensitive whiskers. Washing up is not a chore at all, because the ceramic bowls can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher.
We offer several watering hole for our cats in our home. Therefore, we use the Wolters Diner Stone for Cats bowls, in order to always offer fresh water. I personally find the natural stone look of these bowls very attractive. And since they are hand-painted, every bowl in unique. The oval shape of the bowls ensures that the sensitive whiskers of my cats are not squashed or bent. The design is as simple as it's genius!
Furthermore, I love using these food bowls to teach my kittens how to take on food. For food is crucial in the physical and social development of a kitten. The right combination of nutrients in the food supports the kitten's development and forms the base for a long and healthy life. Approximately from the fourth or fifth week of life on, the milk production of the mother cat gradually declines and the kittens start looking elsewhere for food. In the first few days, they only accept supplemental food via a spoon. But a few days later, they can slurp the liquid baby food directly from a shallow dish.
Kittens may be small, but they're hungry and gain approximately 100g of weight per week. At first, kittens cannot eat large amounts of food in one go, but need several small portions distributed across the day. Hereby, the shallow and oval-shaped Diner Stone for cats is the first food bowl for the kittens. At a height of just under 4cm the bowl is not just perfect for kittens. My adult cats and the seniors also love eating from these bowls.
In addition to the right nutrition, we also place a particular focus on a daily fitness regime. Particularly young cats love playing and chasing prey. Therefore, we use the Wolters play rods and the Gift Box Cat. Wolters cat toys are made from natural materials such as organic cotton, feathers, wood and sisal and environmentally friendly. Plastic toys are not an option for me! Furthermore, my cats love the Wolters cat toys, because they rustle, while rolling. Plus, some toys are filled with catnip and inspire the cats to engage in exciting chase and hunting games.
Nothing is more important than having a healthy and happy cat by your side. Therefore, I recommend Wolters products to everybody who wants the maximum comfort for their cat. Particularly the high quality convinced me to keep my Fluffy Friesians supplied with only the best of equipment.
