When the cold season begins, even our beloved furbabies may start to shiver. Whether a dog feels cold in winter depends on their fur. If a dog has a short fur and little warming undercoat, they will quickly get cold, especially as they age. If a dog has back problems, bladder or kidney issues, a cozy sweater or a warm jacket are very comforting for them during the wet and cold season.

Our popular dog jackets and knitted sweaters not only come in many different styles and trendy colours – no, they also offer a high degree of comfort and maximum protection to many different types of dogs.

Our dog jackets have been designed and cut to offer an excellent fit and maximum mobility to both small and large dogs. This is the reason why four-legged trendsetters love our functional dogwear.

However, there are dog breeds such as dachshunds, pugs and bulldogs who have problems finding a well-fitting dog jacket due to their built and body shape.

However, we also have a solution to this dilemma. And so we offer special cuts for dogs with a long back (dachshund) or dogs with a wide chest (pug, bulldog and co) to offer these dog breeds warming and elegant dog jackets and sweaters.

WOLTERS dog jackets are equipped with the waterproof zipper system Zip & Go, which makes them particularly practical for harness wearers. A soft elastic band at the belly makes these jackets very comfortable to wear. Furthermore, reflective stripes ensure better visibility in darkness and dusk. Depending upon the model, the jackets may be opened wide to make putting them on and taking them off easier. Some jackets also have a cozy collar made from artificial fur.

Waterproofing inspired by nature

All of our dog jackets are free of perflourocarbons (PFC). These hazardous chemicals are frequently used in the outdoor field for manufacturing waterproof membranes as well as water and dirt-repellent coatings. However, we completely forego PFC for the welfare of humans, animals and the environment and instead use the environmentally friendly ecorepel®-waterproofing. The ecorepel® system imitates the natural water-repellent protection of duck feathers and ensures that your dog is protected from dirt and wet.

Particularly small dogs as well as medium-sized dogs without a protective undercoat quickly shiver on cooler days. Our dog sweaters offer a cozy and trendy alternative to dog jackets, allowing these dogs to always keep warm on the daily walk. Due to the knitted fabric, these sweaters offer a snug and good fit. The turtleneck may be folded down and adjusted to the dog's neck, which makes the sweaters particularly comfortable and cozy.
